Fort Pierce Inlet State Park
Located right within the Fort Pierce Inlet, this state park has it all. You can fish from land or use the canoe and kayak ramp to explore the park and its waters.

Pepper Park Beachside
Located along the shore of the Atlantic on Pepper Park Beach just north of Fort Pierce Inlet, this 52-acre park has access to shallow, near-shore reefs that can be fished on foot. The fishing areas are clearly designated, so you’ll know exactly where to go to catch your fish.

- Mackerel
D.J. Wilcox Riverside Preserve Fishing Pier
Located on the mainland side of Fort Pierce Inlet, this 105-acre preserve has great access to the Indian River Lagoon. You can fish from the pier or launch a kayak to cruise around the lagoon.

- Snook
- Trout
- Redfish
- Tarpon
- Flounder
- Sharks
Bear Point Sanctuary Fishing Pier
The pier at Bear Point Sanctuary juts out 100 feet into the Atlantic with departure points for kayaks to explore the Indian River Lagoon system. The sanctuary itself is 13 acres of restored land just south of Fort Pierce Inlet.

- Sheepshead
- Snapper
- Mackerel
- Jack Crevalle
Fort Pierce Inlet Jetty
Just a short walk down the road from our hotel on South Hutchinson Island, the Fort Pierce Jetty allows you to go after bigger fish from the shoreline.
